Film Screening and in conversation with Gina Waldman:
Born in Libya to a family that had been in the country for centuries, Gina Waldman was persecuted, dispossessed, and nearly murdered while escaping during a brutal expulsion from her homeland in 1967- only because she was a Jew.  Since coming to the US, she has been a tireless advocate for refugees and human rights . She is the president and co-founder of JIMENA (Jews Indigenous to the Middle East and North Africa).
